The Modesto Project has placed a strong focus on addressing poverty in Guyana. Even though the country has experienced fast economic growth due to its oil industry, nearly 48% of the population still lives in poverty. Many of these individuals live in rural and interior areas, where most people work in low-income farming jobs and face limited access to healthcare and education.
We are continuing our efforts to support these communities through small, meaningful actions that make a micro impact on the lives of individuals and families.
