In August 2025, I officially began my college journey as a freshman at the University of Alabama. It took only one hour in Tuscaloosa for me to know this was where I belonged. After that first visit, I canceled my remaining college tours to the University of Oklahoma, Penn State, and LSU.
What made the difference was the genuine warmth of the people, the strong sense of community, and the welcoming atmosphere that filled every corner of the city. Since arriving, the overall experience has been nothing short of tremendous.
Shortly after settling in, I felt a strong desire to give back. I realized that if I was going to call Tuscaloosa home for the next four years, I wanted to make a meaningful impact on the community that had already given me so much in such a short time.
That’s when I founded Legends 29, an initiative focused on supporting local individuals and families in need. Through this project, we provide help with groceries, utility bills, and offer hands-on assistance to those facing tough times.
This isn’t just about charity; it’s about connection and community. I’ll be working to grow this initiative with the help of friends, fellow students, and anyone who wants to contribute to something bigger than themselves.
