As we head into the peak of mid-summer, both the weather and development on The Hummingbird Platform are heating up. We have made incredible progress over the last few months, but as our development goals have expanded, our costs have naturally grown along with them. To keep our momentum going and successfully launch our next phase, we are pivoting our focus toward a new funding goal. I will personally be leading a campaign to raise $3,000 to cover these critical upcoming expenses.
Every dollar raised during this effort will go directly into the technical backbone of our platform. Specifically, these funds will support our data pipeline and MLOps tools, secure cloud hosting through AWS, vector database hosting, separate domain hosting, and our managed AI and LLM infrastructure. Ensuring we have this advanced setup is vital for delivering a fast, secure, and seamless experience for our users.
This next phase represents a breakthrough for us, especially as we shift our focus toward supporting Ontario students. Our primary target is to integrate comprehensive preparation tools for the EQAO standardized tests. By introducing these features, we aim to identify critical learning gaps much earlier in the academic cycle, giving educators and parents the insights they need to drive positive educational outcomes for the future.
