As I begin my new role as Chair and Head of Global Fundraising, my primary focus this fall is to expand the fundraising efforts of the Newman Global Initiative beyond North America. Over the past decade, we have built a strong reputation for transparency, measurable impact, and meaningful partnerships. This solid foundation has created new opportunities for us to engage supporters on a global scale.
We have already initiated conversations with potential partners in the United Kingdom, Italy, and France, and we plan to extend our outreach to Singapore and Australia. My target is to raise $2,000 by the end of the year to support our growing portfolio of micro-funding initiatives.
Most of these funds will be directed toward projects in Africa, India, and Peru, providing critical support through the Modesto Project. Every contribution, regardless of size, has the potential to create lasting change by empowering individuals and strengthening communities. Ultimately, these efforts demonstrate that even small acts of generosity can have a profound global impact.
I am excited about the future, and I look forward to building new international partnerships that will allow us to continue making a meaningful difference, one community at a time.
