Behind Tuscaloosa’s vibrant energy, hundreds of local individuals and families experience housing insecurity each year. In response, student leaders are stepping up to make a tangible difference through direct service.
Led by the Legends 29 Initiative, this student team is putting empathy into practice across the community. From coordinating essential item drives to partnering with local shelters, the initiative focuses on meeting immediate needs through consistent, positive action. By showing that small acts of kindness add up, these young leaders are working to uplift their neighbors and strengthen Tuscaloosa from the ground up.
